Our Exam and Consultation Services are the cornerstone services we employ for keeping your pet healthy. By discussing your pet’s history and examining your pet, we can assess their overall well-being and make recommendations to enable your pet to live a longer, more comfortable life. We take the time to thoroughly discuss your pets’ historyand perform a completephysical examination. We then record those findings on their medical record to enable us to track your pets’ medical status.

High quality, reliable Laboratory Services provide our veterinarians with the most up-to-date information on your pets’ health. Because Peachtree Animal Hospital has a complete in-house laboratory, we can quickly assess and measure the proper blood levels for almost all testing requirements. Peachtree Animal Hospital also has a backup system in place in the form of an outside reference diagnostic laboratory service to provide accurate lab data in a timely yet economical manner.

Dental cleaning prevents other health problems, since infection of the gums can be a source of disease for other organs. Dental services at Peachtree Animal Hospital include prophylaxis (thorough cleaning of all teeth), examination of the teeth and gums after cleaning, polishing and fluoride treatment along with, gingivectomy, and endodontics.

Surgery may offer the opportunity to improve or save the life of your pet. Peachtree Animal Hospital is pleased to provide a wide range of surgical procedures. We use state of the art anesthetic equipment and monitoring devices. We employ the most current surgical and anesthesia techniques to maximize safety. Surgical procedures are performed with sterilized equipment, surgical gown, cap and gloves, and cardiopulmonary monitoring. Pre-anesthetic lab work and postoperative pain medication are offered for the safety and comfort of your pet.

Diagnostic imaging includes the non-invasive techniques of ultrasound,endoscopy and x-ray allowing our staff veterinarians another diagnostic tool for looking inside your pet without the need for surgery and eliminate the critical time between diagnosis and the beginning of treatment. Specialist consultations on images are available via our Internet consulting services when needed.

Nursing care is provided for both post operative and medical patients. We take great pride in the level of nursing care provided by our staff. Peachtree Animal Hospital is committed to providing your pet with the highest quality medical care available along with all the tender loving care they deserve.

Boarding and bathing your pet is also available at Peachtree Animal Hospital. We only board pets owned by our clients and not from the population at large. This policy minimizes the risk that your pet will be needlessly exposed to animals harboring infectious agents. Our feline boarders are housed in a special room away from barking dogs.

Emergency care is provided during our regular working hours. We refer emergency cases after hours to the Animal Emergency Clinic of Sandy Springs.
